From Aeronautics to Waves: How Frédéric Badino Is Reinventing Skateboarding
Frédéric Badino, 48, from Martigues, France. An aeronautics industry
employee and father, he has spent the past two years developing a next-
generation surfskate. A lifelong skater and surfer, he is driven by the desire
to share a fun, accessible and innovative riding experience with a
community of riders.
Since July, he has been supported by a group of investors (Mathieu
Boudou, Abdel Bourhanim, Louis Zandvliet) to professionalize and
structure the project’s development in France and the US.
